RETURN TO HOMEPAGE

JAKOB HODEL

I am a fashion designer currently based in Basel, Switzerland. My work is based on clothesmaking, yet continuously includes other artistic disciplines like video, textile or performance. As an end result, I usually aim for an additional medium different than a clothing collection, which on one hand should complement the collection but also function as a work on its own, not depending on a body wearing it on the runway. Historical and environmental topics usually serve as the conceptual backbone for my practice.
